I know of people who are now married to their online love. Now, why is it that some online relationships thrive and others don’t? The available online emoticons such as wink, smile, kiss, hug and so on enables us to express our feelings although the most important element of expression is missing: eye contact.
Even though there is no eye contact on a physical level, emotional contact takes its place and this, in my experience, means you can be successful if, you’re a natural at flirting. If you’re not, forget it, you won’t make it. Innumerable “dating advice” have been written but no matter how much advice you get from these materials, there is very little you can gain from reading them if you have no practical experience similar to knowledge acquired from academic background with no practical experience. In depth flirting knowledge is innate in nature; you can only polish it and make it even better from practice.
Flirting is an important aspect of self-esteem in action because if you love yourself, you’ll be able to open up to your most affectionate loving self. When you have any doubt or negative image of your “self”, you have created a barrier between the flow of good feelings and these work against you! I know people who are not very good looking physically but have very successful and loving relationships. Why is that? Because they do have a high degree of self-esteem; they feel beautiful and they “feel” beautiful because they are in tune with their inner beauty. A beautiful inner self is capable of giving affection so sweet and sensual at the same time.
